Centre d’Etudes sur les Conflits PDF Print E-mail
The Centre d’Etudes sur les Conflits (CEtC) is a cross-university research centre, founded in 1990, intended as an arena for intellectual confrontation, bringing together political scientists, international relations analysts, political theorists, sociologists, jurists, historians, anthropologists and geographers. Its research focuses on the dynamics of violence and their different forms of institutionalization, and the social changes induced by globalization and the ways insecurity and fears are constructed. The researchers are interested in practices of (in)security management at the local, national and international levels. The epistemological choices of the CETC are reflected by its quarterly Cultures & Conflits (C&C), an the International Political Sociology journal.
